Software key

A software key is a method of protecting against unauthorized use of the modules of the BAZIS system.
The software key is stored on a local computer or server machine using the Licensing Service (Bazis License Server)
Features
  1. For the software key license to work, a constant internet connection is not required.
  2. The connection of the Licensing Service to the internet is necessary for updating the list of licenses on the software key.
  3. Multiple module licenses of the BAZIS system can be placed on one protection software key.
  4. The functionality of the software key directly depends on the operability and integrity of the local computer or server machine.
  5. It is only available for placing licenses of the BAZIS system version 2025 and higher.
Software implementation of the protection system
The protection system allows the use of the following operating modes:

Network mode
Computers are connected in a local network. The Licensing Service is installed on one of the computers in the network, which acts as the license server. The key stores information about the number of available licenses. The BAZIS system is installed on local computers within the local network, and the Licensing Service does not need to be installed on them.

Local mode
The BAZIS system is installed on a local computer (workstation). The Licensing Service must be installed on each workstation.
