Drawer design wizard – is a special program module that allows to create a library of any sliding system setting its peculiarities in vivid and simple way.
In further modeling it will be enough to choose drawer construction, number and mounting section. Panel sizes, fasteners placement, sliders holes and other necessary parameters will be calculated automatically.
Work with drawers in BAZIS system includes two operations:
- usable drawers libraries creation;
- drawers mounting to the product.
First operation is executed one time at the system setup. The module package includes the library of the most popular drawer types. It can be easily supplemented with necessary models. New drawer creation operation includes its parameters specification.
For convenient use all possible construction variants are combined into three groups:
- Drawers with roller, ball-bearing and hidden runners are constructed from separate panels at furniture enterprise. Drawers width can be arbitrary, but depth depends on runners nominal sizes and can be more or less than selected nominal size.
- Drawers with BOX pull-out system which runners are a part of side walls. This type pull-out systems have drawer sides in accessories package. Bottom, back panel and front panel for internal drawers should be produced at furniture enterprise if necessary. Drawers width can be arbitrary, but depth corresponds to nominal sizes.
- Pull-out shelves are pull-out elements, e.g. for keyboard of computer desk, pull-out galleries, baskets, etc. Drawer sizes can be easily edited or fixed.
Drawer mounting command works together with created drawers and pull-out systems library. It allows to automate all calculations for correct drawer mounting on a model. Designer needs to select necessary model and specify main mounting parameters:
- drawer mounting mode e.g. between two horizontal panels or from the panel to selected auxiliary line;
- front panel position – inset or overlaid;
- drawers number;
- front panel and case material;
- handles availability and type;
- drawers arrangement in section, e.g. to make all front panels of the same height, or top drawer of fixed height and other drawers of the same height.
According to set parameters all necessary panels, holes and accessories will be created automatically.
